In July of 2016, we switched over to a ketogenic diet, which is a high fat, low carb form of eating in which your body relies on fat for energy rather than carbohydrates. It has been working out amazingly for us, helping us to virtually eliminate grains and sugar, and by extension, almost all heavily processed foods from our diet. (And lost over 80 pounds between the two of us!) We’ve been on the diet long enough that I’ve stopped micromanaging my macros, so don’t expect me to count them for you either. 😉

Here, I’ll share some of my favorite HFLC (high fat, low carb) recipes with you. Like the deliiiiicious zoodle dish below. (Eventually… because I have a kajillion other things to do first. Like work. And research. And chores. And sleep… sometime.)
